Lets get started!

Well, my first blog... and let me tell you it is kind of exciting!!

There is a number of reasons why I have finally decided to start this blog, and I am sure along the way - even more reasons will surface. They always do.

It has been a pretty incredible journey to get where I am today... a series of serendipitous moments, committment and plain hard work..... and the journey is still unfolding and being discovered.

Throughout this blog I hope to share with you many things. Mainly focused on the journey of financial discovery as the title suggests. A little ambiguous yes - and deliberately so. In my business, it is my job to find financial solutions for my clients - in all different walks of life and situations. Many things I discover - would be of extreme valuable to so many - and hence sharing that with you here, candidly. The other component of financial discovery is that of my own. As someone who is always pushing the bar up... always looking to continuously grow my business, my experience and knowledge and ultimately my own bottom line.

As a very dear friend Chris Howard has taught me, and some of you may have heard me teach it to you in my work as a Christopher Howard Trainer... "If you help enough people get what they want most, you will get what you want most" Nice hey...

And isn't that the ultimate goal?? For a win/win outcome for everyone... and I believe that is possible. And in the times when we might find ourselves in the position of feeling not like we have gotten a "win" I would hedge my bets on the fact that you did win. You just don't know it yet. In EVERY situation there is something to be learnt. And it is often those things that will lead us on to become bigger and better. More on that later.

In the end, it is about taking control of your life, and one of the key areas that is often neglected for various reasons, is our finances. The area which can ultimately bring you undone.

I would like to leave today in the words of Benjamin Franklin... "A small leak can sink a great ship"
Something to think about....

Until Next Time,
Leah
